Fircroft College of Adult Education

Founded in 1909 by George Cadbury Jr, grandson of Cadbury’s co-founder John, Fircroft College of Adult Education is based in his former family home, a beautiful Edwardian building set in six acres of gardens.
Fircroft is a residential college occupying a former Cadbury family home, set in six acres of beautiful grounds in Selly Oak, Birmingham.  Staying with us as a residential student means you can ‘get away from it all’ and focus on learning and achieving, away from everyday home and work pressures.
The College runs almost 200 short courses throughout the year, many of which are FREE for eligible learners, as well as a full-time Access to Higher Education Diploma and higher level professional development qualifications. Fircroft can also build and deliver bespoke training aimed at meeting the needs of employers and other local partners.
